Unfortunately there weren't many non-D&D or Pathfinder apps that I could find. If anyone comes across any I'll be more than happy to add them to the above listing. I've already remembered one "Non-Roleplaying" app I should have listed: Dropbox.

I’ve downloaded Evernote, and I hope to be making much use of it. It’s a slight shame that so many of the free apps highlighted here are focussed towards D&D, but I guess that’s weight of numbers. The Songs & Dragons app looks like it might be useful, and I can always do something with a list of NPCs!

Much as I love Cold City and Hot War, particularly the emphasis on relationships and agendas, I’m not wholly convinced by the game system in practice: From extensive playing of Cold City It seems far too easy in most conflicts for the PCs to blag a huge dice pool and make things go their way with relative ease. The slight reworking of the system in Hot War doesn’t seem to address that particular issue either.

Unless of course I’m playing it wrong?
