That is pretty dreadful
But seriously, how likely is it that none of the London Indie Meet people will show up at WendyCon/ConDamned if it's the same weekend as the London Indie Meet? if there's no chance in hell that people will skip the London meet in favour of WendyCon then we'll need to rethink the dates.

I've never even heard of London Indie, so it's not a problem for me.

I would skip the London Indie meet for WendyCon (Sorry, Piers), its just a shame as Piers went through a lot of trouble to make sure next years dates didn't clash with any cons.

I see my con knowledge is pretty limited then.
Well, invading a Dutch con should help me branch out!

Re: "Wendy"Con/ConDamned - can you attend?
Whichever weekend you pick it will not work for some people..... The original dates had a few dutchies going to a gig, the second clashed with the Indie meet-up (cant this be moved a week to the right? or held in Amsterdam?).. Either of the proposed dates would work for me, and with this kind of pre planning allows us the chance to get cheap flights/boats/trains

We could have an away day or move it. I don't mind it clashing per se - it's just that selfishly I would like to come. It might be that I could hand over the reins as there are a number of people who are very supportive to the group and who may not come.

I'd go instead of Indiemeet. C'mon guys, it's only one weekend. And wouldn't you wanna game with the Dutchies on their home turf? And PLEASE, no-one say "I'll pass"*.

We don't encourage it because it tends to dilute the conversation.

Well, it would make sense to have one in Amsterdam, with all the canals.
