CRB Checks (was: Trade,Ratty is it worth it)

Stuart has a point re Documentation. It puts everything on enough of a footing to give the decision not to go ahead with CRB checks for everyone a decent audit trail with (hopefully) sound reasoning set out.

With regards con venues its more tricky. It still seems an overzealous misapplication of the law (like many health and safety "excuses" that can be heard all over the place). I just wish people would use a pinch of common when applying slightly ambiguous legislation rather than go overboard and make the world a very unhappy place to live filled with worry and angst...its almost like a world of darkness!
