Upcoming Games & Dates

Hey Guys,

Right, firstly I will apologise for anything in this e-mail pee's someone off.

Unless anything has already been agreed, I will offer to run a pre-written WotC 4e D&D adventure with some of my own tweaks along the way, I have in March. As long as there are a min 3 players interested I can run it. As I have not been able to play due to work commitments this month I have missed playing, I offer is open any player without a game in March.

I would like to run it for the full 4 weeks so if Bryce is ok, April can be IOD (which I play in), and March will be this one. I think that June is drafted as my FR4e so I can continue with this one as it will last longer than 4 weeks, or change to my Forgotten Realms. If this one stays, some players will go off and play another campaign they are already in, i.e. Pete over to his Ebb campaign. But, other players without a game can slot into this one and hopefully this will bring the clubs games into a routine again after peoples holiday etc.

Hopefully this will cater for anyone who wants a game unless you hate 4e.

So, the offer is there for 3 or more players.

Please let me know so I can prep over the weekend and week.

Just as an update for those not aware;
as Matt lost a week in March & the fact that I won't be available to GM for all of April, it made sense not to chop & change for a couple of weeks only, but to allow flow of the game- so Thunderspire will run in April, just like WLD has run for double-months.

This means IoD will return whenever the rota says next- I think it is July.

May is AoW & SoW
June is Eb4e + A.N.Other (could be Thunderspire, but would lose Mark & Bryce)
July is IoD (if people still want to play it) & WLD

Anyhow, main thing was to confirm that this week (1st April) will still be WLD & Thunderspire.

April is'nt WLD, Allan is running Dragon Age: RPG. He recons on 3 weeks so the last week will either be a board games week or i slip in an extra AoW week.

I saw "Dragon Age" in the thread title & just assumed it was about the computer game instead of checking that the topic was about the RPG version.

So anyhoo- April is Thunderspire & DragonAge then.

Just confirmation for the Age of Worms players, this game will start again next thursday (22nd Apr) and run until the end of May.

I thought it worthwhile trying to update the People & Games rota so we can see who's involved in what.
The AoW + SoW month is pretty fixed (which is lucky as it's the one for May (tho AoW is starting earlier)).
But things get complicated in the other two.
Here's what I've got so far:

I put Greg in for AoW, but for the EB4e & Thunderspire (or A. N .Other) we need to firm up who's doing what.
If it's Thunderspire, Matt was happy to include new players to replace Mark or Me who are in Pete's Ebby game.
I guess we're just looking for intent from those not currently with a game that month to help let Greg know if what spaces there might be.

And the same for the WLD month really, but this is more pinned down.
It was discussed last week, but IoD will be no-more.
Replacing it will be some FR4e starting at Lev 1 & then we will modularise it & see how we go (even change GMs but leave the same PCs).
There are 6 listed for both games in this month- so just looking to confirm that Pete wants in on FR4e or his space is open & whether Sheldon was happy continuing with WLD.

Help me fill in the blanks so I can update the table in May (I know we are partly dependant on Rob being back to say which games he & Jen are in)?

Once again you've surpassed yourself bryce!, this clearly shows who is where in the game rota.

just to say, I'm perfectly happy, (and if the gm's pete and matt are ok with it) to stay on the 'thunderspire' Game, while bryce jumps back over to the Ebby game. this will help balance/support both ongoing games. just want to keep everyone happy, and keep the games flowing.

I guess, that Rob, jen and Greg, dm's permitting, have the choice to join the Eb4e and Thsp games. ?

Your plans for the new free flowing FR4e sounds really interesting and i'm looking forward to it.

Heys All!

Ok, I'm back from my travels (for the mo), so I was just curious as to what the latest was in terms of Games & Numbers of People....

It looks like from the above that Paul is intending to run Pathfinder: Council of Thieves in October (was it also running in Sept, or was that something different?).
Is that still the current intent?

If so, how many players have confirmed to play?

Which leaves the Other Question- has anyone else volunteered verbally to run a 2nd table of anything in Oct?
And how many people are free/going to turn up if there is?

I don't know if poor Tom got enough people to play CoC back in August in the end, when we only had 2 weeks of 2 players that I was present for.
Is there critical mass of people to want to play a 2nd table?

Just trying to figure out what might've already been discussed, and if there is numbers for a second RPG in Oct.

I think a few things are being discussed atm, keith is interested in running something... just not sure what that something is. Possibly D&D 4th, or Gamma World, or Cyberpunk 2020 (yipee!). I'm sure there'll be enough people for something... August was a bit of a funny month for me tbh.

This month was supposed to be Bens Traveller but could not make most weeks so cancelled. Allan started a new campaign using just the 3 core 3.5 rulebooks which currently was me, jason and alex as players so space there if you want to join for this week. We actually have 4 party members as allan also created a character that one of us plays. The reason being we will eventually be taking turns in DM'ing. We have a Cleric, a Monk, a Ranger and a Rogue so far.

Paul ran a Night Below using the pathfinder rules for the other table and they also had 3 or 4 players.

October Paul is running Council of Theives pathfinder for one table but as Bigbadtroll has said i think the other table is still undecided.
