Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
I want to play my bard again. However, I can't make it on the 3rd March as I'm away thursday to sunday that week.

No worries Tom.
Thanks for the forewarning about next week.
Ok all, (& I'll repeat this in the Other thread)- can I have a headcount please?
Those I have yet to hear from (from the 'Regulars') are Pete, Ben and Beccy.
That's only a maximum of 3 players for the 3rd March (if all 3 can even make it next week).
This is not enough to run.
If any other Club member is interested in playing next week, please let us know.
Thanks.

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Ben mentioned last night that him and Becky wouldn't be at the club for the month of March.
You may be able to entice some of the other table to play as both Alex and Jason arn't attending on the 3rd, which doesnt leave enough to play Pathfinder imo. I'll let Paul know so that he can contact Rapael and let him know not to travel next week.

Why is it anything you are looking for is always in the last place you look.

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Hi
If Bjorn turns up we should have 4 players for Pathfinder, which is enough. Raphael buys his rail tickets weeks in advance - so he'll turn up anyway.
We'll be travelling by bus, so we won't be there until about 7.45pm.
Thanks
Paul H

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Ok. With March 3rd looking cancelled, we move things onto the 10th....
Pete & Tom have said they are available (& want) to play.
However, there needs to be more players.
I will keep the offer to run open until Weds next week.
If there is still not enough players to run this, then my proposal is to Abort the remainder of March and to play this in April instead (assuming there is interest in doing so).
Mark is unable to run his Nentir Vale game in April, so the month is open for some sort of game to run opposite WLD.
But first things first.... Thurs 10th March: Any takers?....

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Ok. Wedsnesday is pretty much passed.
And I have not been contacted about anybody wanting to play (other than Tom & Pete).
So, as per my post above, I have no choice but to cancel this week's game also then.
And I think it best to postpone the game in entirety until April, where it might be that Ben & Beccy are back, and that Karl will be too.
Tom, Pete- sorry guys.
I'll text you both directly to say the above in case you don't read this thread in time.
Fingers crossed we get enough interest for the first week of April to make critical mass in order to run this.

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Ok folks.
I've made the announcement in the main thread that I am happy to continue running this game in April if there is the interest and the numbers.
So, normal routine;
there are six seats available at the table to play.
It doesn't matter if you have played before or not- each week is meant to be standalone (with a couple of double module exceptions).
First come, first serve.
Please indicate your interest & commitment to play on April 7th.
I'm looking for a headcount please!
(I need a minimum of 4 players to run)
Thanks!

As ever, I'd love to play Kurrigan the bard again, April 7th suits me fine. Do we know what's playing opposite? (so I know who to beg lifts from)

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Headcount update:
Tom already confirmed.
Karl has also confirmed with me directly as of today.
Aaron is back from Uni for some of the month & will join in this week for certain.
Which leaves 3 possible spaces left.
I'm offering one of those to Cameron (a possible new member who asked about WH in another thread).
This leaves 2 definite free spaces, with a potential 3rd if Cameron doesn't want to play 4e.
Depending on whether Cameron is interested or not, I would like to leave him out of the equation (its not fair on him being the linchpin that decides if we can play or not) & say that I need 1 more confirmation of play before we can run.
Thanks.

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
Unfortunately we didn't have enough players to run this last Thursday.
Until I can guarentee numbers, I think I'll put this game on hold.
I am prepared to run some Savage Worlds instead this month which will require less minimum players to run.
It will likely span over 2 weeks, so I need commitment for both sessions please.
It will be Pre-gen characters, and the setting is the Hellboy world where the characters all work for the BPRD.
The adventure is called "Trouble in Transylvania".
Tom & Karl do not have to reply to this post as they have already confirmed their interest, but I require at least 1 more player to be able to run.
Please PM or email me BEFORE Weds lunchtime to confirm your interest.
If not, then I won't run it this month.

Re: Modular 4e Forgotten Realms - Creation/Setting Guideline
OK.
It's lunchtime, ....and I've received no definite interest for either the existing game of 4e, nor for the BPRD (Savage Worlds).
....so I am forced to abort both of these options.
However. In order to cater for the potential new Club Members, I will be running a Level 1 D&D 4e adventure tomorrow instead.
See the Playing This Month Thread.
Existing Club Members who play 4e: please can you support this game to make it an enjoyable experience for the new people.
Thanks!
