Sounds like the sort of thing the Pompey crowd could do in their sleep, puerile adolescent poetry...

Interested to hear how this works. I wonder if combining it with something like The Railroad might make it more likely to happen, with some pre-written reponses available to each Player (possibly from a single list that gets crossed off, bingo style

Re: At Indiecon i wanna play
Getting back on topic...
... 1 ... Dogs in the Vineyard
... 2 ... Mouseguard or possibly Burning Wheel
... 3 ... Dungeon World
... precisely because these are the sorts of games that I never normally play, and in an ideal world ...
... 4 ... my own new game, Soul's Calling RPG*, if anyone in attendance, other than me, is up to speed for reffing it ???
PS I would also play Amber except that I imagine it's one of those games where being a total newbie makes it more difficult to join in?
* current status = main text complete, proof-reading / double-checking final chapter, no art as yet, estimated 370 pages 11 point Calibri, of which 260 pages or so are main text (the remainder being pregens, musings on roleplay and other such distractions) - see Omnifray subforum
PPS:- I will probably run 3 sessions of SC, subject to demand, and none, this year, of Omnifray. At least 2 of my friends who are coming would probably like to play something Space Opera-ish.

BtQ and D&H.
DitV as I haven't a clue about it but it seems to be "in" here.
Whatever else piques my interest when scanning the sign up sheets.

Re: At Indiecon i wanna play
Some more Archipelago II style games for me please.
With the HBO Game of Thrones series, based on George's books, being the main factor for re-igniting my interest.
I could totally see the setting working in the same way as, Love in the time of Seid. Using the Archipelago system.
Some one come up with some characters, a charged situation and scenes cards already!
I'd also not be shy in signing up for a game of The Mountain Witch, as the trust mechanic coupled with the dark fates is made of win.
Other than that, I hoping someone will turn up with a cutting edge poetry style games that lasts around 30-60 mins.
Cheers

Re: At Indiecon i wanna play
I'd like to play:
- Apocalypse World (shouldn't surprise anyone)
- Dead of Night (I really, really, really would like to play this game for once, instead of run it.)
- Cool stuff. (Anything that sounds good, really)
I won't be running the proverbial f*ckton of games that I ran last Indiecon and Conception, so I should actually have time to play stuff :p

*8 tables in a circle, 16 chairs/players,
2 blank cards on each table.
Each person writes whatever they wish on the blank card.

Re: At Indiecon i wanna play
Wouldn't mind another game of Apocalypse World.
Barbarians of Lemuria or Jaws of the Six Serpents.
Been reading through Duty and Honour, so wouldn't mind a game of that again.
Or anything that looks cool.

Re: At Indiecon i wanna play
I still need to play Apocalypse World and I would love to play Smallville as I want to see the relationship stuff in action. Pendragon is a must if any is on as it's always nice to see how other people run it.
I'm sure there are other games but my mind is blank at the moment.

If I make it down, I'll totally be running the original and best laser-focused indie game that is Pendragon. I've had or seen a couple of cowboy games of that recently, time to dust off the reinforced chain, oil the sword and charge into battle on my finest Andalusian charger.

Yes, I'd really like to play Smallville too. I've been reading the rules but I'm not sure I've quite got a handle on what it would be like in play.

Tough choice. I'd like to play at least...
1. Fiasco
2. Umlaut
3. Dogs in the Vineyard
4. Jaws
5. Apocalypse World
Plus loads of others if time and energy allow. If only IndieCon and Conception were two months long :sigh:
I'd also like to run/playtest a couple of games I've got ideas for, that's if I ever get round to writing 'em...
