I enjoyed it. I'd probably still use the old MSH rules so it hasn't sold the game to me, but it did help me come to that decision so that's a success in one regard

Not got any suggestions for future ones as I always seem to be behind the drag curve when it comes to new systems (I'm only just getting into Unisystem for example!)

Actually, I think Unisystem is underrated. It doesn't seem to get much press these days unfortunately.

I really enjoyed it. It was nice to read a more in-depth review of a game. I'd happily read another one similar. How about doing The One Ring?

What came through quite clearly is that the Marvel mechanics are quite different from most games, so it's hard to judge if they're actually any good from reading the rules. I've played a fair bit of Smallville, so it's not that new to me. Yes, there's a lot of arbitrary Vocabulary with Capital Letters, but once you learn that, Cortex+ games flow very at the table.

I'll post an AP report if I get any takers on Saturday. (That's at Concrete Cow, if may be permitted a small plug.)

If it doesn't clash I'll happily play the game at the Cow. I've been looking to play some Cortex+ for a while now and reading through this look at the newest game has just increased that desire.

Thanks for all the hard work putting this up Baz, I'd happily read more and agree The One Ring could be the next thing to do, or possibly Albion?

Could do, difficult to know where to start or end with that one though. I'm due to be play testing the next edition soon, so perhaps that might be more appropriate for review.

The One Ring doesn't particularly float my boat to be honest. I got burned out on Tolkien when I worked for GW.

Albion I know nothing about. I'll have a look, and see if it has curb appeal.

I'm about halfway through a review a review of Albion, it got sidelined a couple of weeks ago but I keep on meaning to dust it off. (Not that this means you shouldn't do it as well though Baz!)

How about one of the more recent FATE games? Kerberos Club or Bulldogs! would be nice.

Bulldogs! looks to be a good game and finally one that presents the FATE system in a concise format (it was the lack of such a product that encouraged me to create Free FATE). I have read it but not yet played it so it would be interesting to see others' views on it.
