Waiting list

Guessing I'm probably not the only 1 who wants there 2b a waiting list and, if so, WLTb put on it. So,
Organisers: What's the likelihood of folks dropping out nearer the time a la IndieCon and Conception, due to changing work/holoiday dates, deployments etc?
Other users: Any1 in a similar boat 2 me, i.e. WLT come to Furnace, Con of The Year, but for whatever reason can't commit right now?

I think the Gentleman is saying he can't commit right now, but wants to know if he can be on a waiting list for nearer the time, when he decides if he can then commit or not.

I'm not an organiser, but I can tell you that in previous years (as with every other convention on the planet) things change and people can't go when the time comes, or maybe know this a few weeks before hand. There are always people that don't turn up on the day itself.

You'll have to wait and see nearer the time, once you've worked out if you'll be able to attend.

We don't maintain a waiting list as such, but Gaz is right, people drop out. I can post on the board if space becomes available (or you never know, there might still be those tickets when you find out if you can come!).

We might also check in on those attending nearer the time and find out how many can't make and open up some more opportunities.
