As for status -
The quick answer is that McRoss and Chuuma are interrogating prisoners in the Losshaven Detention centre with Klashie supporting them, cracking the computer systems on Big Momma (the captured pirate freighter) in response to anything they find and feeding it back to them. An open inter-system link is being maintained, at present.
After some trouble with the Togorian captain, and some outright lies by him denying knowledge of Crater Bay and Halo Bay*, Chuuma thought he could crack him by using the First Mate, a Devaronian called Jilak Til, and also some idea as to a lead on another system, MN-791g. When this was brought up, it seemed the Togorian reacted in such a way that he would be knocked out by the detention cell's systems. The good news is that Klashie is running _hot_ with the slicing...

And can everyone tell me whether or not they're happy to continue with the RCR or wish to upgrade to Saga? I haven't run _any_ Saga (it was a birthday present, today as a matter of fact) so it would be a learning experience for me!

I'd be up for going to the old people's edition as I have that version. It's simpler to understand as well.
Check out my running of the 'Great Pendragon Campaign'.

I have the old version, but I'm happy to upgrade to SAGA at some point if you want to once you have read the rules. As I understand it, SAGA is more streamlined so might actually be a benefit to the slower PBeM games.
