Good sized games club in Maidstone

Cutter mentioned here about a club that meets in the Style and Winch pub on Union St, Maidstone.

Apparently they meet Tuesday (around 19:30) and Thursdays (around 19:00) in a back room and while there is one game running each night (generally with different players) there is room for a second game to start up. They have played all sorts of systems by the sound of it. The landlady is happy for off-site food to be consumed (to the point of providing plates) and there are plenty of fast food operations in Maidstone.

Sounds like a good option for some of the people looking, I know at least one of us is both searching for some games and in Maidstone for instance.

If anyone does go along, can you put an update here to let us know how it went?

Well, yeah I went down and met the guys and said hello, the location is great and everyone was really friendly.

Unfortunatly their running at max numbers on both nights, so at the moment there isnt a space for me but they said that as soon as a place comes opon they will give me a call which is cool.

So im still looking for a game if anyone hears anything.

I haven't had a chance yet to pop into Westgate games in Canterbury to ask there so theres still that avenue open.

I used to game at the Style and Winch pub a good few years ago now. They were a good bunch of lads when I was there. Played Runequest at the time.

space wise theres enough for two groups to sit there but tbh the noise from one or both groups would disturb the other and I could understand a DM getting frustrated with that

I think your best bet is just going there.

Also, I've heard (via the comic shop) that there's a White Wolf based group that meets at The House at Home? (I think it's in Puddign Lane) but that's all I know about them.
