Shower Scene

It was formerly held by Baal, but he abandoned it a few centuries ago when the naquada mines ran out. The local population is sparse and scrapes a living by subsistence farming. The PCs were made welcome, and have had to suffer a week of tedium while the team archaeologist/anthropologist translated inscriptions on local ruins that all basically say “Yeah, there really is NOTHING of value left on this planet, so I’m leaving, love Baal.” The highlight of the mission has been the locals singing an interminable song about ploughing (all 47 verses of it) before every meal, and village debate about which kid the local bronze-smith should take on as his apprentice. Oh, and after the 5th or 6th bowl of lentil and mutton soup with black bread, even MREs taste good…
