Five years ago, Arion Games was born, with the release of their first set of Paper Miniatures. Since then they have produced a further 110 Paper Miniature sets, have re-released the classic Maelstrom RPG along with 5 support products, and have written and published the Rolemaster:Rome book.

Thanks to the more than 5,000 customers they have had in that time, they have grown out of all recognition, and have some very exciting products to come.

More than 4 years after putting a Starship model in our free demo set, Arion Games has at last released a full set of Starship figures. Tri-sided, with an additional top image, these figures represent 30 small and medium sized Starships.

Greywood Publishing and Arion Games have combined to release QUERPS Greenskins.

Based on the successful QUERPS syetem from Greywood, Graham Bottley from Arion Games has written this book to allow you to play a Goblin, Orc, Troll or Ogre. The book contains new races, new spells and new monsters. There is a wealth of information on life as a Greenskin and even a complete setting to explore!

The Maelstrom RPG, published in 1984 was a small but popular game, released partly on the success of the Fighting Fantasy books, also from Puffin. Written by Alexander Scott, a teenager at the time, the game soon gathered a loyal following. Despite being in print for only a short time, the game has developed something of a cult following, and the herbal section has inspired many net-based RPG herbals.

The free Medieval Court set by Arion Games has been an incredibly popular set, acquired by more than 3,000 people so far. We have always had a hankering to do another, and here it is. With more of a “Fantasy” feel than its predecessor, it nonetheless offers a few court personages and a good selection of guards, either to protect the body and welfare of your characters, or indeed threaten the same. To complete this partnership, the two publishers are slated to create joint sets, combining Arion Games’ artwork with the flexibility of Disposable Heroes’ customizable options, such as labeling, numbering, and the ability to create armies. Additionally, Precis Intermedia can also print Arion Games’ sets in full-color and ship them to you as an option.

Maelstrom, the classic roleplaying game of Tudor England is back. Republished last year under license by Arion Games, we have continued to publish support materials to make your game even better. Now you can even have paper miniatures specifically designed for Maelstrom. With nobles, mercenaries, craftsmen, soldiers and more, this bumper set of 34 miniatures provides many of the characters, adversaries and bystanders you will need for any Tudor or Elizabethan game.

25 years after the original publication of the Maelstrom RPG, Arion Games are pleased to announce that the Maelstrom Companion is almost here. Pending a few last minute licensing points, the Companion will be released both as a pdf version, and as a print-on-demand book. With a fantastic cover by Chris Waller, and nearly 150 pages of Tudor-inspired goodness, this book will enhance and expand your game.
