No More Wizards of the Coast PDFs?

By Dave McAlister • Apr 7th, 2009 • Category: Latest News

Eagle-eyed Darran spotted this on DriveThruRPG‘s front page:

Wizards of the Coast has instructed us to suspend all sales and downloads of Wizards of the Coast titles. Unfortunately, this includes offering download access to previously purchased Wizards of the Coast titles. We are in discussions with Wizards about their decision to change their approach to digital sales of their titles and will post more information as we have it. If you would like to let Wizards know your opinion on offering D&D titles for download, we suggest the D&D Message Boards found here.

You can also talk about it in our own forums here.

[Sceaptune Games] A Clan of Wretches

By Dave McAlister • Feb 18th, 2009 • Category: Latest News

Sceaptune Games are pleased to announce another Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition supplement: A Clan of Wretches, new, heroic-tier intelligent opponents for the moors and wastes.

Wretches: warped and twisted clanspeople living on the fringes of civilisation. Exiled to the wastes and remote moorlands, the wretch are nomads forced to wander in the wilderness as they seek out new pastures for their herds. Sometimes launching raids into the frontiers of the civilised lands, frequently ambushing merchant caravans and explorers, these primitives are a nuisance that cannot be ignored.

D&D 4e Playtesters Required

By Dave McAlister • Jan 7th, 2009 • Category: Latest News

Sceaptune Games are looking for playtesters for the more challenging supplements they’re producing. It involves playing with the new classes, equipment, monsters and scenarios that appear in their supplements, seeing how they feel and making sure that odd results are dice-dependent rather than a result of the supplement itself. They are looking for basic feedback as well as anything specific that turns up (e.g “I’d never choose this power” or “I’d ALWAYS choose this power”, both of which are uncomfortable extremes).
