Soul's Calling:- Alpha Playtest Copies on Order...

Postby Omnifray » 12:26am on 18 Jul 11

So, today I finished the final bit of proof-reading of the pre-artwork playtest copy of Soul's Calling, and I have 10 copies on order from Lulu. Each of them has 32 blank pages marking where the full-page artwork is supposed to go...

... and not counting those 32 pages of artwork, there are 360 pages of printed matter in each one, but that includes:-

* title, copyright and table of contents pages (3 pages)
* a 19-page (!!) index/glossary
* 10 pages of supporting materials such as blank character sheets etc.
* 30 pages of roleplaying advice

... so just under 300 pages of actual fluff and crunch (and that's including the 26 pages of pregenerated characters and backstory for them, and also the 20-page mini-bestiary, so there are only 250ish pages of general stuff).

Anyway, finally, this thing is ready for proper playtesting. Fingers crossed now!!
Looking for playtesters for the Implodarc Tabletop RPG. If you'd like to playtest it and post public feedback or an AP thread, ask me for the private link to download it, or I can e-mail it to you. At least compared to my usual stuff, it's meant to be simple and quick to play with quick CharGen.
