I thought the queen of 1990s games were the World of Darkness titles.

Me, if it is 1990s, I'll be thinking of Over the Edge and In Nomine. Though I wanna play Earthdawn. But who knows what the theme will be? Not even me, that's the fun of it.

I've still got *stuff* for this year to sort out!

Heres a theme to celebrate the Garrisons history "You are in the Army now....!" - all games should be military themed.
"Forth, and fear no darkness! Arise. Arise, Riders of Theoden. Spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered! A sword day... a red day... ere the sun rises. Ride now!... Ride now!... Ride! Ride for ruin and the world's ending!"

Exalted Actual Play: Gem City Watch! || Dark Heresy- Silver Dawn/The Castermere Look/The Beiderbeck Investigation || ASOI&F - A Knights Tale || Cold City: BSG || Rogue Trader: Eastern Fringes Trading Co. || Elric: Inception in the Dreaming City || Masks of Nyarlathotep-7e||Super(Mad)men from the Stars||V20: The Red List|| Dracula Dossier @LongCon2016

"Sheffield" could be quite a good theme, too.

This is all far too jovial, so riffing off Philip K. Dick, my suggestion is

Unable to find @TweedMeister in the Twittersphere, I come with a request that:

"RPGs not originally written in English"

be considered for 2017.

You might want to watch that the themes don't get too restrictive as some suggestions are quite limited in scope; anthropomorphic animals is a massive turn off for me as an example. Granted you don't insist that all games are thematically linked but having a theme does distinguish Seven Hills from other Cons.

Not a major criticism but maybe something to be aware of.

I guess that includes OD&D, Nobilis, and Continuum then....

Keep it to yourself, but I'm being selective as to what goes into the hat.

Impenetrable. Or at least difficult as hell to understand based purely on reading.
