Bad news; wife's birthday weekend so no go for me. :(

Positive spin; might be an opportunity to try Longcon.

Bad news. But you're entitled now to two Sheffield cons per year, surely!

I'm considering offering Nine Worlds. Unlike Tenra, it's over-the-top gonzo action.

As it happens its the week after my wife's birthday this time so Mr and Mrs Crypt Keeper are booked and looking forward to it, sad you can't make it mate. Solution bring Mrs Ragr as well as Ragr Minor :)

I've added it to the calendar ready for next year. Not booked into the Garrison yet though (will have to risk that later).

I believe Ragr Minor will be in my neck of the woods by then so we could, potentially, travel together :)

Awesome plan, Joolz; don't think I haven't thought of it . I'm not sure spending a weekend in gameland is her idea of a heavenly birthday, however.

Thanks, Dave. I think Minor will have to miss as well, but we've not chatted as yet.

Just booked the Garrison.

Pretty much as expected, they've pulled the weekend off online booking sites and you can now only book directly with the hotel.

I attend lots of RPG conventions in the UK. I Attend non-RPG "geek" conventions to promote The Hobby using my "Choose Your Adventure" set up. I blog about both of these things here: https://rpgs4all.blogspot.co.uk .

And I've now booked into the Garrison. dpm Minor will be in attendance as well (he'll be 14 then) at his third convention (having been to a couple of Conceptions in the past).

Well I'm on my way (in more sense than one--just ask ragr about last year!). No DPM minor unfortunately but you do get his godfather instead. Who else will be there tonight?
