Seven Hills Timetable in progress...

Postby dr_mitch » 3:18pm on 21 Feb 17

The timetable is now colour coded. Green means I have full details, yellow partial, and blank means I have nothing.

You know what you have to do, GMs...

Keenly observant people will notice we have space for another GM on Saturday morning. Who would like it?

May I take the Saturday slot if it is still available?

Details for my Saturday morning game:

Am I Here Or Am I There
A Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adventure for 4-6 players
While travelling towards Daggerford, the adventurers come across a young boy crying beside a broken wagon. It appears that his family were attacked by strange dog-like creatures and dragged off, but he managed to avoid capture by hiding. He begs you to rescue them...

My game for Seven Hills.

Image

Slot 1.
Title: 'Headless in Rapid City'.
System: Cortex+
Players: Up to 7.

The Rapid City Journal, South Dakota's finest newspaper in the Black Hills area, seems to be running several news stories about supernatural occurrences. Escaped tigers attacking people, biker gangs decapitating each other, lightning strikes across the city, strange graffiti that looks like occult glyphs, historic swords stolen from museum, and to top it all the smell of sulphur is prevalent throughout the city.
Coincidences or the signs of a greater supernatural event to bring doom upon us all?

In slot one, Graham Spearing and I are offering a special game...

The City at the Edge of Nowhere (Wordplay 2)
Dramaguhl- a labyrinthine ancient city, built on its own receding and crumbling history.

Once it ruled a vast empire, but that time is a distant past. Now, the city looks inwards. Dramaguhl is still rich with the wealth of lost empire, hidden secrets and ancient sorceries. In this giant playground, nobles plot and scheme as they dream of the past and better days ahead.

One of these nobles is prepared to declare himself god-king, gaining a form of mystical ascendance in a coming ritual. He has gathered followers, and has powerful magic at his disposal, dark magic which exerts a terrible cost. Few are willing or able to resist his rise, or know what it would mean for Dramaguhl.

But you are determined to end the threat, whatever the cost. You have an idea of the terrors that will ensue, not just of the ascendance ritual itself, but also of the unending tyranny which will inevitably follow.

In this game, there are two tables of freedom fighters, with two game masters, following interlinked stories which may come together at the end of play.

Number of Players: 10

Just to say I'll open up games for GM prebookings at the start of April, and player prebookings a few days later. I'll send an e-mail to everyone when things are open to pre-book.

Also, if anyone would like to volunteer to be as reserve GM (you get one game slot where you're ready to step in, and get an extra GM booking. You can still pre-book games in that slot, but might have to drop out), please shout out.

Do you want to see the final timetable and list of games details?

Of course you do!

We could still use a couple of reserve GMs if anyone is interested.

I'll send an e-mail round about advance sign-ups at the start of April.

On Saturday, now the timetable is settled, I'll open up prebookings for GMs. Each GM gets one prebooking per game.

Then a few days later, everyone attending gets a single prebooking (including GMs, who get another one).

Everything after that takes place at the convention, about 15 minutes before the game slot. At Seven Hills, this is traditionally a casual affair, rather than a case of big queues or mad scramble. I've even seen people casually ambling towards the sign ups rather than rushing.
