Seven Hills 2018 games

Postby dr_mitch » 1:54pm on 15 Nov 17

Hi everyone,

I've deliberately not opened Seven Hills 2018 up to people submitting games yet as I wanted a delay after registration, and I've noted some general discontent among GMs (including, it must be said, me) deciding what to offer 6 months in advance. But I will open things up to GMs next week.

As last year, I'll allow a week for new/inexperienced GMs to submit first before things open up in general. I'm not going to police who counts as new/inexperienced; if you think you count here, you do!

There will also be a new funky games submission form, courtesy of my amigo Jag. If you have any issues with the form, you can still e-mail me as usual (and I will deal with the form).

I've got a couple of other ideas for new GMs in the works too.

Cheers,

Mitch

Nothing Seven Hills specific, I should hasten to add. Just a few remarks on personal social media. There's no big drama you're missing. ;)

Me.

I know I should be more organised but I do like deciding what to run nearer to the event. What I want to run in January might be different to what I want to run in April.

You are such a troublemaker, Burley. Who'd have guessed?

You're accepting towels on chairs up to a certain point, Mitch?

Yes, I'm still accepting towels on chairs to the same extent as in previous years. Such have not been a problem from an organisational point of view.

Seven Hills GM registration is now live for new and inexperienced GMs. As before, I'm not going to police who "counts" here.

You can submit your game here:
http://chronicleofgames.com/

You'll be able to see submitted games here:
https://trello.com/b/gfChi3tv/seven-hills-2018

Things are open for GMs in general on Thursday next week.

If you're having any trouble with the forms, please feel free to e-mail me: drmitchener(AT)gmail.com

Seven Hills GM game submission is now live for all!

You can also reserve a slot through the form. But I will nag you for more details in the new year.

If you're interested in doing a bigger than normal game, or a game across multiple tables or slots, that's absolutely fantastic, and I'm keen to see it, but please let me know first.

Was there a theme for this year? I imagine there was, but can't remember.

If I'm going to ignore it, I'll need to know what it is, otherwise I'll accidentally provide something that's on point.

No Star Trek then? :)

That feels like a thing I can get behind actually. I quite fancy giving Numenera a bash, which certainly fits. Then there's Lost Colony for Savage which could be interesting. If I wanted to repise Tight Purse Harvey, there's no reason it couldn't be a Shogun crossover...

I've updated the Trello Boards to reflect games on offer. Slot 2 is now full!

If you get anyone desperate for slot 2, I'll happily move my towel to slot 1.
