Altered Volume: Mumble Edition

I am struggling to catch some of the dialogue as some actors are mumbling their lines.

It’s very good though so far.

Seems more common. But are we just going deaf?

It was fine with subtitles. Which I have on by default because of the noise.

Agree on the audio

Most intriguing to watch. Love the Raven hotel

Personally I feel I'm doomed

I had the same problem watching the first of Ch 4's Phillip K Dick season - couldn't understand a word anyone was saying. By the time I'd figured out how to turn the sub-titles on it was halfway through and I was completely lost. Gave up on the whole series as a result. I might go back to it when it comes out on DVD.

Vikings Season 501 (?). This one just flew by, 10 episodes in less than a fortnight. This one carries on the quality and despite the limited possibilities of plot - I fight you, you fight me, we fight them - it continues to prove compelling viewing. I guess it's the characters that keep me engaged as they are so well drawn and full of conflicting interests and emotions. The acting remains naturalistic and high quality and it's still got that weirdness lurking around the edges. New characters to watch out for? Johnathan Rhys Meyers as Bishop Heahmund, a slightly volatile man of the cloth who is discomforting every minute he's on screen.

Bring on season 502.
