Woke up last week and a message in my inbox told me I'd backed the Cthulhu Dark kickstarter.

I don't know how it happened.

Dark forces are stirring.

Wade Dyer, does it again with another set of superb rules-crunchy games in the Fragged Empire universe. These ones use the "Momemtum" rules to boost the roll of dice in combat.

Fragged Aeternum and Fragged Kingdom

This campaign aims to fund the creation of two new sourcebooks based on the Fragged Empire Core Rules. Fragged Empire is a post, post-apocalyptic science fiction setting that focuses on cultural tension, genetic engineering and exploration. Fragged Aeternum and Fragged Kingdom use versions of Fragged's highly flexible rule system, refashioned to suit these two new styles of play. You will need the Fragged Empire Core Rule Book to play in these two settings.

Also, in Fragged Aeternum, you live the Life after Death in an "all existence" spanning city (you may call this Hell), so Player Characters are immortal (just not gods), making PC deaths and TPKs part of daily life and rebirth in Aeternum (GMs are encouraged to not hold back).

Chris Avellone is involved, so of course, I had to pledge allegiance to "Pathfinder: Kingmaker" the computer role playing game.

QUESTIONS
@ BerserkerKitten: I'm going to ask you 10 questions, please I need answers.
1. What will be the maximum character level AND the amount 6 or 4 per group as that is abyss Level 10 or Level 20.
2. What grade does Ai% think and learn from defeats?
3. It will be a game where you have to read a lot. With much lore.
4. They mentioned steam there are achievements as many like to complete those achievements.
5. What will be the importance of being able to create our objects since that will take us go zones to hunt to have certain components.
6. What is the learning curve?
7. You can play Alphas and betas so we help with objective analysis to the moderators.
8. They plan to make updates or content every 3 months or 6 months.
9. I look at the figures adding up every day but there are questions that people wanted to know. If it will be for Mac / Linux etc
10. When there will be a page or forum where we are going to see and reading the updates. Class Builds; community . Thank you very much for your time .

ANSWERS
1. The maximum character level will be 20. The planned party size, as far as I am aware, will be six members.
2. We're working on a smart AI, which will keep you on your toes especially against enemy spellcasters. I can't get any more detailed than that right now, but I wouldn't expect a learning, evolving AI.
3. Pathfinder: Kingmaker comes with a huge campaign and lots of text, so yeah, reading is a requirement.
4. I have no info on Steam achievements right now. I assume they are easy enough to implement, but let's focus on actually creating the game for now. :)
5. There will be no item creation like in Tabletop Pathfinder. Artisans will handle this element through the kingdom feature to some extent, but I don't have all the details yet.
6. That's not an easy question. What was the learning curve on something like Baldur's Gate or Pillars of Eternity? You have to be willing to get into certain core mechanics to get the most fun out of the game. With that in mind, there are difficulty settings for easier battles and the game can help you level up your characters, if you so desire. It won't be too hard to pick up if you want to "just play", but it's still a CRPG, which has a certain amount of complexity to it.
7. There will be alpha and beta tests. You can find the currently planned schedules for those in our FAQ.
8. Right now we're focusing on completing and releasing a complete game experience. It's a bit early to tell whether there will be additional content post-release and how exactly we'd handle it.
9. Initially, no. Windows only for now, but we're hoping to cover other platforms (Linux, Max, consoles etc) later.
10. We're still setting up the forums. I have no exact time for when they are going live, but the dev forums will be an important part of our campaign, because this is where the community gets to vote over certain features. We'll inform everyone when the forums are live, don't worry.

Since I ordered the lovely GioLasar Constellation Dice of the Northern Sky (and they are beautiful D6 dice indeed), supporting more cool D6 games to use them makes perfect sense. By the way, "All-rolled-up" will be selling them too.

So, why not join me too, with just half-a-day left on Wade Dyer's Fragged Universe (Fragged Aeternum and Fragged Kingdom)

I chucked $10 at Seco Creek Vigilance Committee.

It'll be a nice emergency standby for when I run out of prep time and want to run at a con or home.

He actually shared pictures of the issue in the comments thread!

The stupid thing is that this is one of those kickstarters that the whole product is tainted by the experience. I doubt I will ever read or play it.

We're supposed to be UK Roleplayers. So what could be more traditional than:

Noggin The Nog - The Miniatures!

For those not in the know, Noggin the Nog was a children's BBC series which aired in Black and White from 1959 to 1965. Not surprisingly I don't remember this. However, it made a comeback in 1979-1980, with new colour episodes, which I do recall.

There we also books which apparently ceased in 1981.

I must have words with Declan for politely mentioning "[u=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/burninggames/dragons-conquer-america-season-1-the-dawn-of-a-new]Dragons conquer America[/u]" and thus, starting me down the path to backing yet another Kickstarter.

In his defence, though, this card-powered RPG is choke full of wonderful art, and interesting game mechanics, and story too, including treating the difficult issues of colonisation and prejudice in mesoamerica. So, yes worth all the pledges.
