One does not need to go to Dragonmeet to unlock the gaming swag achievement.

Despite all the warnings, Drive-Thru delivering in under a week for the POD books.

Cold Shadows and Cities in Shadow are the POD versions KS backers got at cost because of the delay in printing.

Project Darklight because I realised I didn’t have it despite playtesting in games run by Newt. And it’s Wordplay.

The Midderlands Additions to go with the core book.

Lovely.

My Cthulhu Dark Kickstarter arrived, and I'm really pleased with it. The advice on constructing and running mysteries, and the four settings and scenarios are great. One RPG book I've read cover to cover.

And I was naughty at Dragonmeet. My haul:
Dead Rock Seven (for Ashen Stars)
Stealing Cthulhu
Covert Actions (for Cold War Cthulhu)
Dreamchaser (to indulge some storygame curiosity)

Kicking back with a lovely cup of Daterra and flicking through the Dragonmeet haul of Cthulhu City, Out Of The Woods, Heroquest Glorantha and The Coming Storm.

This morning I've writing up various reports about Dragonmeet for many of the forums and other sites I frequent plus a confession about my game at Dragonmeet on the Design Mechanisms board. However now it the time to mention my haul from the depths of darkest Hammersmith. I picked up Dreamhounds of Paris and Bookhounds of London as I 've been playing some really excellent games of GUMSHOE on line (Ashen Stars, NBA, Esoterrorists, Final Revelation) and find that it works exceptionally well as an on-line gaming system, just the right amount of crunch, not too many issues about changing the character as you level up and a simple dice system which is catered for in lots of dice roller system. So with Bookhounds and Dreamhounds I have high hopes of more great on-line gaming in 2018.

I also received a copy of MAR Barker's man of Gold from Pookie. he'd reviewed this book recently and I asked if he could loan me the copy to read. It's based around the Professor's long running game set in the Empire of the Petal Throne and forms something that is a great introduction to the setting (a mix of Meso-American and South Asian material). I've run Tekumel games using at least two different game systems and Pookie gave me the book on the condition that I run a Tekumel game for him. Deal!

Hell froze over.

These arrived in the post today, only 3 1/2 years late. In honesty, I’d written off getting them a long time ago, so I suppose that I should move Alas Vegas out of the company of the other two fails.

This means Space 1889 is the oldest not yet fully completed Kickstarter that I haven’t received everything for. And I expect to see the Mercury Sourcebook at some point, so it doesn’t have the same bad taste that this project left.

“Alas Vegas - a Kickstarter project of bad memories, bad luck and bad blood”, to paraphrase its tag line.

Possibly the only KS to get a parody KS.

Now to see if the content is any good.

Unless Mindjammer Wave 3 arrives, this is probably the last before Christmas...

I liked the Beyond the Wall material enough to venture further afield.

Another Kickstarter concludes. I forgot about this one until I got the notification today.

MIndjammer landed in the arms of a struggling postie.

I am going to have to run this to erase the guilt pangs about backing at a high level.
