What have u just splurged on?

First Age needs it, Dom needs it, heck we all need it. The thread you end up in when all the others have failed. Consumerism Central.. confess away.

Doctor Who Third Doctor Sourcebook, to go alongside them DVDs of Jon Pertwee I am buying one by one... I don't think this even counts as a RPG spend, now does it?

Black Friday tempted me all over but the only thing I caved on was Stalker RPG from Lulu at 33% off.

Pleased with that and delighted with my restraint.

Amazon.com Inc. randomly crashed the price of the Warhammer 40K Forbidden Stars boardgame. For a few hours it was trading at £49, and since Games Workshop cancelled Fantasy Flight Game's license, I had to immediately grab this bargain. ;-)

I also got a good price on the recently out-of-print "Warhammer 40K: Dark Heresy 2e". With such good luck, I am thinking of collecting its other additional expansion books. Worryingly though, I am not seeing much Warhammer 40K being played at Seven Hills, nor IndieCon nor Furnace. So where are all the players playing, I wonder?

Then, since I backed the Mindjammer Traveller Kickstarter, I had to start collecting Mongoose Traveller too. Thanks to Dom for the good advice on the past editions.

And with all the wonderful Kickstarter splurges too, do other GMs suffer this problem of collecting too many games, not all playable within the span of one mortal lifespan?

I think if you run W40k at 7hills or Furnace, players will come. I've never played it, but would love to.

Yeah I remember there was a Dark Heresy game at Furnace just gone that got a fair number of presign ups before the con. There's a lot of love for War hammer 40k out there :)

I don't suppose 8GB of RAM counts, does it? Or the bottle of Bombay Sapphire? (Tales of The Loop will probably get me though, and I still have £120 of Warhammer AoS figures to paint...)

I was tempted by the Mutant Chronicles deal on black friday - that was a stupid good deal. But I won't get much RPG time for the next six months or so, and by then I'll have Conan, Infinity, Unknown Armies, and Kult. So I resisted that...

But I did go all impulse-buy on the new Blood Bowl stuff. I love me some BB.

Not a splurge as such, but I've just downloaded the Cephus Engine....
