Cthulhu Britannica boxed set...getting ready for a home game in 1920 London, with lots of that post Great War feeling alongside gangside wars and the relationship of both the high and low in society with less familiar (and some absolutely invented) twists on the Mythos. I'm actually finding it really rather handy, even if much is distillations of parts of London I'm familiar with or can look up elsewhere.

Eclipse Phase Transhuman (impulse buy from Seven Hills). Highly useful if I manage to do anything with the game, and I want to. Though interesting timing now Second Edition is Kickstarting (which interests me greatly, but I won't back unless they manage a solution for international postage costs; it's funded, and I can wait).

Or even "Loop". ;-)

It's a great book, isn't it? I backed the art books originally.

Yep, must have been thinking of his follow-on when I wrote that.

It's a nice looking, well-written book, but it just missed the mark for me, and didn't grab in the way their Mutant Year Zero or Coriolis settings did. Still, not every game will work for everybody.

Scrap Princesses art constantly bemuses and astounds me. I cannot fully understand why something so incredibly messy and messed up appeals to me so much. The interior looks like something from Pelgrane. Or something else I can't quite put my finger on but could swear it involves the artist Jez Gordon. Or maybe it's Black Powder, Black Magic. Something set in the Wild West, possibly.

Anyway... looks gorgeous, Dom. Need to know more before I add something else to my shelf that I might never look at again.

It's interesting that I could recognise Jez's involvement subconsciously. Freaked myself out a bit there. Makes sense now. Weird that.

Dice and moar dice...
You can never have enough dice. I saw a Pinterest post of speckled dice and thought "I need some of those". 30 minutes later I'm ordering from The Dice Shop Online:

CHESSEX SPECKLED HURRICANE 7 DICE POLYSET
CHESSEX SPECKLED GRANITE JUMBO 34MM D20 DICE
CHESSEX SPECKLED FIRE 7 DICE POLYSET
CHESSEX SPECKLED LOTUS 7 DICE POLYSET

It's a terrible habit and I need help.
Sam.

Another Pixel 2 Print A1 map, this time of the Numenera Steadfast and Beyond. A little bit of table bling for UK Games Expo and a signal that I might like to run some, sometime, somehow.

That's a stunning stack of goodness. I wish I came home to that sort of welcome more often!

The Forest Dragon and all its expansions arrived a while ago. The boys love it, to the extent that I've had to spend the last 30 mins sleeving 150 cards... kids... sticky fingers...
