Let's write an adventure, line by line, together.
Rules, 1 sentence each, wait for 2 posts before joining in again.
No idea where this is heading, no need for a system setting specific, but not banning it.
Feel free to declare the end when you want and we'll start another if it was fun.

The scene opens: A cramped fishing boat. A corpse hangs from the mast, its flesh waterlogged and rotting.

It's throat bulges and contracts, bulges and contracts. A questing leach head forces its way out through broken teeth.

In response, across the fetid waters of Deadrift Sound, a piercing bestial scream shatters the heavy silence.

"One of them is coming, just as you predicted". Tallim's eyes flitted to the slender woman at his side. From within her cowl he could make out nothing more than a thin smile. This worried him.

The corpse's mouth explodes in a fetid rush of bone, concealed gore and the giant bloodsucking leech falls like a blood blister into the dark swirling waters.

"I see that Aucien's Circle has been this way," mutters Hamfo.

"Aucien!" said Tallim. "Now is the time to finally deal with him."

The two of them looked toward the nearby shore. There was already movement among the dark trees just beyond the steep shingle beach.

"I think they'll find us first." said Hamfo quietly.

The fight against the Revenant Hangman and bound Venomspore Roper was cruel, fatiguing and long, paralysing Hamfo's left arm, and depleting the sorceress' psychic energy.
