Boardgames on your mobile/tablet?

Postby zackspacks » 7:24pm on 30 Jan 18

Does anyone else here play games via apps?

Reason I ask is because I regularly play Twilight Struggle and Lords Of Waterdeep on my phone. I also have Through The Ages but haven't played it online yet.

Boardgames on your mobile/tablet?

Very occasionally. I have Lords of Waterdeep, Alien Frontiers, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride and Tsuro. May have Carcassonne somewhere as well.

Edit: plus Burgle Bros and Brass

Actually I have T2R and Carcassonne as well, forgot about those. If you are interested in a 5 player LoW let me know, as myself, the other Andy Watson, Tony Parry and Gary Matthews are always playing a 4 player game. We all have the two expansions as well, nps if you don't I could always set up a base game 5 player if you are interested. We play on a 45 days per player clock so no rush, cheers.

OK, various board games:

    Ascension
    Carcassone
    Kingdom Builder
    San Juan
    7 Wonders
    Word Hero
    Various Majong games

Are all played a lot.

Other board games played occasionally:

    Alhambra
    Ra
    Brief History
    Tigris
    Medici
    Tikal
    Le Havre
    Kahuna
    Catan
    Tsuro
Fairy Tale (annoyingly now won't work with iOS 11)

RPGs:

The Avernum series: Escape from the Pit, Crystal Souls & Avernum 6
The Avadon series: 1, 2 & 3 (these I don't like as much as you have to be an utter b*st*rd)

Yipe 5 Lite (again now won't work)

    Waking Mars
    Various Rusty Lake games
    King of Dragon Pass

I'm eagerly awaiting Avernum 3: Ruined World which is due for release tomorrow (but I think the iPad release won't be for a little while).

Catan
San Juan
Scotland Yard
Sentinels of the Multiverse
Splendor
Star Realms
Stratego
Ticket to Ride

Used to have Ascension, Carcassone, Galaxy Trucker and Labyrinth but removed them as I only have a Hudl2 and the memory is small (plus it's beginning to mess around due to age).

I keep forgetting to play the board games I’ve acquired on iOS or Steam.

But the Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game is very good - and very challenging - and has a great mobile and Steam port. Except when I mis-click something (or want to cheat!) and wish for an undo button!

Only Pandemic and 7 Wonders, though I did download Baldurs Gate at one point but difficult on a phone.

I didn't realise so many were available. I shall have to go a hunting.

On my Android phone and played regularly:

Carcassonne
Catan
Exploding Kittens (I actually prefer this version to the original card game)
Pandemic
Scotland Yard
Small World
Ticket to Ride
Tsuro

Originally on my Android tablet (but not available on the phone):

Blood Bowl

On my Windows "tablet" (Surface Pro 4):
