DISCLAIMERS:

This is a list of conventions I've compiled from a variety of sources. It's as complete and accurate as I can make it by I make no promises that that it is 100% correct. Please ensure that you check the details with the event organisers themselves before making any plans.

ORGANISERS: If you have any further information you want added or there's any information you wish me to correct, drop me a line. If I've listed your event but you wish me to remove the listing (I'm aware some events may be private or fully booked) just tell me. Similarly, if you're running an event and you want it included. The list is intended to highlight special or one-off events rather than regular club-type meetings.

EXPLANATIONS:

The list is intended to highlight events across the UK which may feature and element of Roleplaying games.

NAME: This is the name the event generally goes by and will usually find the details if used a search on the Internet or Facebook

Date(s): The listed dates for the event. Note that two day events will usually be Saturday and Sunday and may have a "slot zero" on the Friday night. As always, check with the organisers for details.

Location: This is the city or town in which the event is listed to take place. It's always worth checking the exact details of the venue itself.

Contact: Typically this is the website for the event and will usually contain the contact details for the organisers. It's always worthwhile making contact with them directly before arranging to attend an event that's new to you.

Description: A short summary - so you'll know if it's a convention dedicated to RPGs or something else, such as a board game convention, which has an RPG element.

Rough size: An estimate of how many people will be at the event. This is from my own experience and I make no claims they're exact. Remember, also, that the size of the event is no indication of the number of RPG games being played.

I know exactly how much hard work it takes to compile a list like this.
Some of the online abuse I used to get was awful just for making these types of lists public.

You might just want to edit the new info into the 1st post though, so that future amendments don't get lost among the replies in the thread. :)

I'm learning that websites aren't where it's at any more. It's all about the facebook.

On the website, you click on the FB link. This takes you to the 2017 Facebook event for the convention. On there there's a post about the 2018 event.

I can't see any posts about the 2018 event on the 2017 FB. I guess this another instance of "if you haven't got a FB account then you'd better develop psychic powers pronto".
