Dec's Game Offerings

Postby decfeeney » 1:18am on 03 Nov 15

Okay. I've finished prepping my games so I'm happy to announce them:

10 Candles

Ten days ago, the sky betrayed you
The world went dark. The Sun Vanished
You were alone.

The fall into chaos was sudden and predictable. The world was filled with riots and fear.
Radios promised that the sun was not gone. It was still out there, beyond that black sky.

Order Returned

Fire days ago, They came

Now the radios promise rescue that never comes. Now the lights flicker low and the dark is where they hunt. Now you hear the screams. Now They are coming for you.

Keep moving. Don't lose hope. And stay in the light.

System: 10 Candles (http://kck.st/1XKBbVz)
Players: 5
Slot: #3 (Friday Evening)

Zenith Plus Twenty Five
(A 2000AD story)

What will your generation be? What will you stand for?

Set in Second city, built over the ruins of Birmingham which was destroyed in the early 90s'. Second city was a great big metropolis, full of gleaming towers and statues - but years of neglect have tarnished that image, and many of the towers are now slums.
(Hint: Second City falls somewhere between Gotham and Mega City One, but with Brummie accents)

The world has seen three generations of supers before today.

The Golden Generation, the first metahumans, came on the scene in the 1940s. The British superhuman "Maximan" and his Nazis counterpart "Masterman" both perished in Germany near the end of the war.

The British superheroes of the silver generation where the results of experimentation and came of age during the tumultuous '60s. They formed a supergroup called Cloud 9, fought against many-angled ones, but split due to differing idiologies

The Bronze Generation, inistially consisted of just Zenith. He was a third generation superhuman, the son of White Heat and Doctor Beat. Vain, shallow and self-centred, Zenith initially used his powers to promote his career as a pop singer. Twenty five years ago he was reluctantly dragged into defending the world. He would later be joined by Shockwave, Blaze and Skizz the Alien.

Time has changed him. The Zenith of today is very much unlike the callous child he once was. He has a family now, and you might even describe him as settled, stable or practical.

And then, there's today's generation. The fourth generation. Unnamed, unproved, untested.

That's you. That's the Masks. What will your generation be?

System: Masks
Players: 5
Slots: #2 and #5 (Friday Afternoon and Saturday Afternoon)

Note: This will be a two-session micro-campaign: allowing me to end session one on a cliffhanger. The second session will pick up from that cliffhanger and play on to a resolution. I would ideally like a commitment from players that if they take part in Part One, they will also play in Part Two.

Okay. I get the hint ;)

I checked the 7 Hills timetable. It looks like:
  • Neil is running games in slots 2 and 5,
  • whilst Simon is running games in 3 and 5,
Hence if I was going to do this it has to be in slots 1 and 4.

I was already running something in slot 1 which I can rearrange and having checked with Paul there is a fee space in slot 4, which I have now grabbed.

So, Zenith will return… In 2016

Huzzah!! I'm not available for a lot of IndieCon due to work and other commitments but it looks like I'm OK for Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon, so I'd be dead chuffed if there was space in your Masks game Declan :-D

Are you taking any pre-signups? If so 10 Candles look fun.
